Hi there!
I wanted all of my equine artist watchers to read this simply because the awesome ~AtraSolaris and I have created a new club called ~HorseIllustrated. All the detailed information is on the club's page, but basically, it's a club dedicated to helping Equine Artists of deviantART understand the different aspects of horse art. It's for the equine artist who doesn't receive any/many comments or critiques, but still wants to know their strong and weak points of drawing horses. Hopefully, through this club, they can get the help they need to improve on their art. So please, please check it out. Seeing as the club is new, we'd love it to come into dA with a bang! I do believe this club can be successful if people support its cause.

Wow. I am terrible at updating my journal. The last one was, what, 3 months ago? Fail.

Well, anyhoo, I already did, currently are, and will be posting photos I took from my summer trip to Chicago, Illinois. (Sorry for the swamp of pics in your inbox!) They include:
Various aquatic animals from the Shedd Aquarium.
Landscapes, flowers, and various vegetation from the Botanic Gardens.
Views of the city skyline (during the day and at night).
Views of various buildings throughout Chicago.
Views from Sears (Willis) Tower.
Various flowers from the Crystal Garden in Navy Pier.
Some interesting artifacts from the Museum of Science and Industry.
Buckingham Fountain at night.

(Don't worry, it's not as bad as it looks. )

And after posting these, I'll probably post some pictures of the horse I currently take riding lessons on.

Then after that, it should be it for a while unless I end up going somewhere and taking more photos or actually drawing something (which I haven't done since last December.)

Yeah. Had to get that other journal off...It's a tad outdated.
So...
Yeah....Not like this is much better but...yeah.

So school will be coming to an end soon for me. We've only got a few weeks left yet, and then my freshman year will be over!

OMG. If you haven't seen the musical Wicked or at least heard the music, do so right NOW! Seriously. Idina Menzel as Elphaba the bad witch has an amazing voice! So totally go check it out on Youtube or something.
When the school year ends, that means track season is ending as well. I must say, I really enjoyed myself. My quad eventually healed and I ran a 13.58 seconds for my 100m dash (About 1/2 a second away from the school record),a 58.31 seconds or something for my 200m dash (About 1 second away from teh record), and 1 min. 4 seconds for my 400m dash (Like, 4 seconds away from the record). I had to quit longjumping because I landed funny and hurt my back rather badly. Luckily, I could still run, and because I get an adrenaline rush before/during every race, I didn't feel it when I ran. So it didn't really affect my running, but sadly, longjumping is not gonna be possible for me the rest of the year.

*le sigh* Yah...

DARLING SISTER

Soooooo....How's everyone doing? Yeah, I haven't updated this in a looooooooooooooong time.

Well, track season just started up and it's going pretty good...Good except for the fact that I pulled my right quadricep (a.k.a. one of the main running muscles). So basically, I can jog, but I can't sprint all-out. The sad thing is, I was planning on being a sprinter because I think I have the potential to be a pretty good one. We've got a couple weeks until our first meet, so hopefully it'll be healed by then. *crosses fingers*

Erm...Yeah. Not much else going on...Oh, has anyone read "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee? (Yes, I know it's an uber popular book, and everyone probably has read it, but I just felt like asking. ) Anyway, we're reading it for English and I wasn't exactly sure if I liked it. What are your opinions on it?

Any-hoo, I'm currently in an Avatar: The Last Airbender obsession thanks to the lovely . I was drawn in by her lovely Avatar-related drawins and fanfic. I was convinced I needed to watch the show, found a site with every single episode on it, watched all 3 seasons, and Voila! I'm hooked! It's rather impressive and I recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it.

Not to mention, I'm deeply in love with One Tree Hill! Despite the fact that I loathe most Soaps, for some reason, I really like this one. There's something about it that's uber addicting! Once again, I recommend this to anyone who hasn't had the privilege to see this show!
